Give a brief history of why you started your business:
There seemed to be a huge need for a quilt shop in this area. We all had to go several miles to get to a place with good quilt shop quality fabric. There was also a need for a local shop to teach sewing and quilting skills. We had been dreaming of what our take on a nice little quilt shop would look like and we decided to make that dream come true in February of 2020.
How long have you been in business? How long in the BID?
Opened February 02, 2020 in the BID
What is your “secret gem”? What is something that you provide often people don’t know about?
Longarm quilting and binding services – Beginner/Intermediate classes for sewing and quilting
What is your favorite thing about serving the Hartland Community?
Hartland has a nice small town feel, reminds me of childhood. I love looking over and seeing the children playing in Nixon park and love hearing them laughing and interacting.
Are there events you host or take part in that we should attend?
We have intro to sewing classes, block of the month classes, and so many more classes, all with a small class size.
How can the community support you during these unprecedented times?
Shop and support our small business, tell others about us. Word of mouth is the best advertising, help us get the word out that we are here.
How can you connect with Our Quilting Workshop?
