Parade of Presents and Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony
4:15-4:30pm Parade of Presents, Follow Santa as you parade down Cottonwood Avenue to the 4:30pm Tree Lighting Ceremony. Wrap yourself up in the holiday spirit and join in the fun. Kids of all ages are invited to create a pre-made "present costume" and follow the parade to the Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony. Families meet at This Great Coffee Place, 365 Cottonwood at 4:15 pm. Santa will lead the parade of children dressed as gifts to the downtown Tree Lighting Ceremony. Be ready in your costume at 4:15pm. 4:30pm Annual Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony, Ooh and aah as the tree is lit at the SW corner and intersection of Hill Street, Capitol Drive, and Cottonwood Avenue. Watch the Tree lighting while enjoy a caroling performance by the Zion Lutheran Church choir from 4:30 to 5:00pm. Santa will hand out candy canes for the children.

Special sales, services and merchandise will be featured at participating locations. Noon- 9:00pm Indoor Vendor Fair, 301 Cottonwood Avenue. Hartland Community Center Activities, 210 Cottonwood Avenue 4:30-9:00pm Festival of the Trees, Decorated Christmas trees will be on display and raffled off during the evening located inside the Village Community Center lower level, 210 Cottonwood Avenue. Purchase raffle tickets for your chance to win one of the pre-lit, 6 foot tall, fully decorated trees. Raffle drawing will be held at 9pm. Proceeds benefit the WI Upside Down, a non-profit organization, advocating for individuals with Down syndrome. Food and Bake Sale, Hungry? BBQ sandwiches and other baked goods available for sale, sponsored by the Hartland Women’s Club. Crafts for Kids and Holiday Music by the St. Charles Carolers inside at the Community Center. 5:00-9:00pm Pictures with Santa, Bring your own camera and smiles to capture the perfect holiday memory with Santa. Stop in at the Community Center to visit with Santa. 7:00-8:00pm Oconomowoc Orchestra performing holiday favorites at the Community Center. Zion Lutheran Church Activities, 415 West Capitol Drive 5:00-8:00pm Zion Lutheran Church, 415 West Capitol Drive, enjoy Christmas choral performances throughout the evening at the church. Climb aboard the downtown trolley for a ride to the church. Music from 5 to 8pm with refreshments served until 9pm. Free parking in the church lot during the events and for the Holiday Train. Canadian Pacific Holiday Train 9:15pm Canadian Pacific Holiday Train arrives in downtown Hartland. Sponsored by the Hartland Chamber of Commerce. Fireworks, popcorn, kiddie train, and hot chocolate will be available. Train arrives at the Pawling Ave railroad tracks and Cottonwood Avenue. Look for the Special Event signs and flags. Free admission. Please drop off your Hartland Food Pantry donations at the Hartland Chamber of Commerce, 116 West Capitol Drive or any participating location.
Free Trolley Service runs continuously on downtown streets so patrons are able to ride to each business. Look for designated trolley stops to catch a ride during the evening from 4:30-9:30pm. Trolley service is sponsored by the Hartland BID. Parking is available free in all Village municipal lots and the Zion Lutheran Church lot at 415 East Capitol Drive.
